Moved to this thread. J-F, can you delete the other, please? Thanks.
I notice that the target for mage hand is only a single object. Eber can cast up to four level 0 spells per day. Should I assume that he will use up all of them to bring as many bottles up as he can? |

I was going to suggest burning the boat down after we retrieve the wine too. But, then I was starting to seem like a pyro! Anyway, I think it's smart to find out what's what from Enaborem before we do any torching of any boats or buildings. Then, yes, we will let Nadia destroy them.

Oops. Missed that. Let me think about how to work this out to our best advantage.

I don't mean Nadia by herself destroying them. Nadia and Pen can try to turn/destroy them, but if that doesn't work, I think that all of us together can kill them. Once I worked out the bit about the fort saves, I decided that they aren't so scary afterall! We can burn the boat or not. If it seems likely that there are more goodies down in the hold then lets not burn it.
But first, let's get the wine and go talk to Enaborem. |

I agree with Elanor, once I realized that bit about the Fort save, they are not quite as scary as I thought. Still nasty, but not that bad. And burning the boat would ruin anything else of value that might be in there.

Okay, I need another piece of information:
How many bottles would a crate contain? Black holes are where God divided by zero. |

If it were full, it would contain 12 bottles.

Okay, Eber'll use his mage hand spells to get up as many bottles as possible.
Note: He only has 3 cantrips left on the day, having already cast detect magic. Oh, and if this works, then we might want to consider waiting for tommorow to retreive the rest of the wine when Eber can have levitate prepared and can pull out whole crates at once. Then again, maybe we just want to bite the bullet and take on the wraiths. Black holes are where God divided by zero. |

We're probably better off taking them on after all.

Hey, Rob's here. Now we all really ARE on at the same time together!

Oh but I just thought of something. Nadia has wasted her Consecrate spell if we don't try to go after the wraiths soon. I really hate to waste that 25 gp worth of silver dust!

Re: Nulb - OOC 2 | ||

Good point. Then let's get the results of Eber's spell experiment (which should at least tell us if the crates behind the ladder contain what we're looking for) and then decide who's going down into the hold.

Re: Nulb - OOC 2 | ||

Hmm. Only room for two people down there, eh? That bites. For best result of the Greater Turning, it would need to be Pen and Nadia. But Rolf would be very effective combat-wise if that doesn't work (assuming he gets his halberd enchanted, of course.) So I dunno how we wanna work that.

Re: Nulb - OOC 2 | ||

Nadia and Pen will go, at the very least. Pen can go first since her fort save is better. They go and if they don't meet the wraiths at the bottom of the ladder, than Rolf and whoever else can follow. As soon as Pen or Nadia see the wraiths, we can try to turn them. Nadia will use the Greater Turning first. Depending on what happens, we can try to turn them again if it doesn't work, or just attack them.
Going to get my lunch, but I'll be back. edit: OK, Nadia will cast Magic Weapon on Rolf's halberd before going down. |

Pen will zap herself, Nadia and Rolf with the wand before going down. She is happy as a clam to go down first.

Now how did I miss that.
Well, at least we know the wine is there. How much do you suppose we need for Enaborem to give us the information we desire? Black holes are where God divided by zero. |
