I'm going to be submitting it to a writing contest for sci/fi and fantasy stories. The winner won't be announced until next year, but it will still be exciting.
There is no cash prize, but the grand prize is a plaque and runners up get certificates. I'm in this more for the prestige of winning a contest rather than getting money for it. Just trying to beef up my writer's resume.
