In the rule clarification archive i've read the posting of shuriken being too weak in the PHB. I agree. I'm a fan of the comic book series "The red knight"(de rode ridder) In one of these books "The shadow zone"(De schemerzone ), a ninja throws 3 shuriken simultaneously to his target. All three shuriken hit the target in the head, slaying him immediately.
IMO one should have the ability to take a shuriken greater proficiency feat. With this feat you throw three shuriken simultaneously at one target. If the target is hit, you throw one d3 to see how many shuriken hit. If all three shuriken hit,
the target must make a fortitude save or die.
