I've played three seperate Faerun campaigns under three DMs, and each seperatly decided to lay waste to the City of Splendor. Is that something everyone does at some point? I'm more of a Dalelands DM, myself. That, and an occasional bout of Moonshaes. "Whadda ya mean, Orcs get levels too?!?"

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I frequently see Waterdeep used in my campaign, be it due to my plots or due to player decisions. I did not, and do not, and most likely will not see a reason to destroy it. Darken Light, is the lack of darkness.

First campaign, it was (as I recalled) taken down by a pair of dracolichs. Second campaign, an invasion force somehow came through Undermountain to take it over. This one has just been your standard demonic/orcish horde, which we have sort of stalled, so I guess it hasn't been destroyed yet and since I'm taking over the campaign, I suppose Waterdeep has a pretty good chance to survive with just scarring. None of the DMs involved in these games has bothered to explain where Blackstaff was during each and any of these attacks. " Congrats, Ken. You stand as living proof that not everyone here's a jerk." I've never touched Waterdeep, heck, I've never even been there, most of my campaigns tend to deep inland. Thay, Shaar, Dales, that kind of thing.
