I recently introduced a (delayed) familiar to the 9th level sorceror in my campaign. (I say delayed b/c he's gained 6 levels without a familiar since the campaign started!). Anyway, they are playing a Heroic campaign where they are reincarnated Kings of an ancient, overthrown empire. So... I introduce the familiar, who is a blue mouse (blue is significant b/c it is the eye color of the ancient empire, and the current race in control of the world will kill ANYONE with blue eyes- basically genocide). Anyway, I dont want just another "+2" to [insert skill/save/etc.]. Can anyone think of a cool feat, trick, special attack, etc. that the mouse can give the player? I dont have access to any sourcebooks that give ideas for "Improved Familiar" feats... but that is pretty much what I am looking for in a familiar. I dont want it to be TOO overpowered. Ideas, thanks.
