Now someone in our party is challenging that. I am unable to find where it says that the wands spell must be on your spell list. Am I just pulling that out of the air, or is it actually listed somewhere? If so, where? I guess if it isn't listed anywhere than anybodu could use a wand. I managed to look it up, but just after that, it talks about a trigger command that you can use to activate a wand and that does not require any special knowledge of spellcasting. Posts: 458 (06/03/05 06:58:59) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Even though wands use a command word, do not confuse the two--wands do not use command word activation, they use spell trigger activation. No special knowledge outside of the spell being on your spell list or a Use Magic Device check (DC 20) will allow the use of the wand. See Rothe's spell trigger quote above. A wand useable by a monk would be a fairly fearsome thing indeed. Of course, the monk could just put points into UMD and buy the cheaper one instead if he doesn't mind not improving his tumble, jump, etc... No books so can't say if there is such a trigger, just if that is so then what the ruling would be. Andrul If ignorance is bliss, then knowledge must surely be an ulcer.
