I have a concept that my dm is willing to work with me on......I want to play an Awakened ape or dire ape that has the leadership feat gaining a lvl 1 or 2 druid as a cohort. The concept is a Tarzan-esque relationship though the ape would be the dominant personality of the two. The druid boy woul be a young adolescent, about 12 or 13 that has been with the ape for quite a few years. They would speak using a sign language that only the two of them know. The ECL that I have to work with is 8, so that probably put a Dire Ape out of my reach.
