Spanky shall look confused at not being decared the winner after the tiny man collapsed, therefore will think its an illusion so shall cast dispel magic at the zombie and tell spot to attack (it probably maul the zombie its only int 2).

The dispel magic has no effect on the zombie.
Spot the tiger charges the zombie and pounces. Claw 14+9=23 a hit for 4+7=11 damage. Other claw 3+9=12. a hit for 3+7=10 damage. 21 total damage rekills the zombie. No need to rake or bite. Spot is now at 90-95N/5-10E. It is now Jewbag's turn on round 2. He detects two strong life forces and one weak one within spell range- all powered by positive energy. |

Would spot be able to make it from one of the hall to the other in one round? he has speed 50ft and the hall appears to be 100ft long. I don't have books handy but pounce allows a move and a full attack right?

The pounce is a charge, so Spot can make a double move and do it. "Charging is a special full round action that allows you to move up to twice your speed and attack during the action." (PHB 154). Damned rules lawyers.
Jewbag cannot determine which life force is closer, according to the spell description. "You cannot determine the exact creature type or positions of these creatures." (PHB 250). Look at the example on column 3, paragraph 3. No positions are given. So, it will be random. 1-10 Spot, 11-20 Spanky. I rolled an 18. The target is Spanky. Spanky rolls 18+14=32 to save. Magic jar doesn't work. It is now Spanky's action on round 2. |

*from the peanut gallery* Wouldn't Jewbag be at least able to tell relative position? One creature is close to the limit of his spell range, and another is close to the center. I think the intent of the wording of 'not being able to tell exact position' was so that casters couldn't easily differentiate friend from foe by position.

The wording does not say "exact position." It says "exact creature type or position." I think that the adjective "exact" modifies the word "type" and does not modify the word "position".
If you read the spell description, the example given in the following paragraph describes how a caster can only distinguish relative hit dice of those around him. The caster in the example cannot determine even relative position. I'm pretty certain about that first ruling. Next I don't think that Jewbag can use his reroll ability to force his opponent to reroll a saving throw. This ruling I haven't fully researched. What do you think? LMChc: Thanks for the reminder. Its not the saveing throw he wants to re-roll, its the Dice that you rolled to determine which creature he atempted to posess.
