This is the OOC thread for my campaign. All are welcome to post questions or comments here.

Pace | ||

Since there are only two players in the group right now, I need both of you to check the main thread for updates as often as possible or the game will slow to a crawl and we won't even get into the plot until sometime next year.
I know you have lives of your own so I don't expect you to check every 5 minutes or anything but try to check at least once a day. Thanks. |

Just in case | ||

cmrscorpio, you see the same thing I described to Valrus.
I didn't decribe beyond that because I figured you might want to do something else given the new information. |

History | ||
|
The problem with an amnesia campaign is that I end up creating your backrounds. If anything I create sounds out of character to you, I have absolutely no problem changing it.
Additionally, if there is anything in particular that you really want including in your backround i.e. why Ralak is particularly good at killing orcs or how Dalian became so close to fey, feel free to post on it. We may have to make slight changes to your story to fit into the world and the plot, but I can't think of anything I wouldn't be able to include with minor changes. |

Re: History | ||

As far as my character's background, do whatever you think is appropriate.
For Dalian's relationship to a fey, I was thinking perhaps he spent the majority of his childhood in a very small town that had an enclave of druids who resided in a nearby forest. One of the charges of the druids was to protect a tribe of grigs (sprites). One day when Dalian was 12, he was wandering in the forest collecting flowers for a bouquet he was assembling for a girl who he had become enamored with. He heard the sound of a fiddle playing and decided to investigate. He discovered a band of grigs. After remaining good-natured after several pranks by the grigs, Dalain gained their trust and friendship. Dalian returned to the grigs often and reveled with them, eventually learning to play the fiddle from the fiddler. Dalian sometimes did not need to go to the frigs. On occasion, one or more grigs would pop up in the small villiage just long enough to perform a prank that would eventually get pinned on Dalian. Re: History | ||

I'm basically looking at playing Ralak as a bounty hunter, with a knack for getting them orcs. With a Victorian Big Game hunter kind of personality with a bit of mercenary thrown in.
Think the villin from "The Most Dangerous Game" if you've read it. "There's no save for an axe to the brain."

Hey, it's not a work of art but nice little map, helps a lot.

Re | ||

Yeah, hopefully as I get better with paint I'll be able to create some cooler looking maps.
Additionally, near which wall are you stacking the crates, since there are 3 of them in your general area. |

Re: Re | ||

The wall they are going to be stacked against will be the one north of the "current position" on the map.

you haven't posted in a while and a lot has changed since you last did. If there is anything you wished to do during the time since your last post (within reason) history will be changed.

Spring Break | ||

I'm flying home for spring break and won't have as readily access to a computer. I'll check for new posts as often as I can but things will probably slow down for a week.

don't worry. I'm sure we can continue the campaign just fine without you

Re: New Player | ||

err so. . . no room left? (I sent you an email elishar) lemme know at aubreywestern@yahoo.com if theres room. Like I said in the email, I wont be running that game I was planning on running so I have free time again. . .
and aside from that, how would you multiclass one of those characters? would a barbarian/rogue 1 be one class and a barbarian/fighter1 be a second class? or is it only two classes for ever and ever until you pick up prestiege class levels? |

Re: New Player | ||
|
The way i understand the "multiclassing" in this system:
first level you take Barbarian/Rogue 1 as per the set rules. then at 2nd level you take a Barbarian/Fighter level by giving yourself the best of the abilites between those 2 level: d12 hit points, 4+int skill points, class skills are from the combined lists of barbarians and fighters, +1 to bab, extra fighter feat, +2 to Fort, and weapon and armor profieciencies of fighter. I think that is everything. "Judge me not, my shallow friend, lest ye be judged yourself."

Re: New Player | ||

ok, so if I made a character i'd probably make a barbarian-sorcerer 1. That sounds like my kind of personality. unless of course I wanted to be a fighter type in which case i'd take like fighter-cleric/fighter-monk, but then if I wanted to take a level of cleric-monk would I gain a +1bab, or since it was my first level of cleric-monk and thats different from fighter-cleric and fighter-monk i'd get a +0 bab? advancement seemse f'ed up. I probably don't need to be thinking about it though, so i'll just stop.

Hotmail | ||
|
I've been having loads of problems with hotmail. The group is by no means full. Backround for you is the same as everyone else, just post the character with a short blurb on personality, appearance, and whatnot.
As for multiclassing. It works exactly like normal multiclassing except you take the best abilities from both your current classes when you level up. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this system is very easy to abuse. If I start getting some insane multiclassing combos I will find a way for your character to have an "accident." Also, in my brief on the campaign I said that I strongly discouraged playing monks. I do have a supplimental monkish class you can play if you like that idea. |

Re: Hotmail | ||

ugh, I haven't been checking back lately, glad I haven't missed much. I'm in College and it's coming down to crunch time, add in that I'm now addicted to Never Winter Nights and I kinda forgot about this.
Don't worry I will still play with all my heart and skill! Just don't panic if I miss a day or three... "There's no save for an axe to the brain."
