"Sure, what if you would...I find it boring myself." Daelric shrugs and returns to his original position. Gesturing about, he performs some spells unfamiliar to you, which appears to create some sort of residual images as his hands move. Slowly, some visual traces of green color flow through the ground and circle around him and the cloaks below. Looking up and back-trace these energy flow, they appear to originate from the leaves in the surrounding plant lives. Slowly, the cloaks, and Daelric's boots, are dyed green by these energy flows.

Tamara claps her hands excitedly. "Very impressive! That's really something. Even your boots got turned green. I hope I didn't become green, though." She looks down at her body. "Phew. That's a relief. Spending one week in green was quite sufficient for one lifetime."
She grins at Daelric. "Anyway, what exactly are the effects of this transformation? Surely they go beyond changing the colors to green. I mean, there must be more efficient ways of dyeing the cloaks if the green color is all you're looking for." |

"The green color would appears to be just a side effect." Daelric scratches his head. "Sometimes the energy would gather and concentrate on the cloaks and provide a strong Abjuration effect against common attacks and spell attacks, most notiably Evocation and Enchantment spells. Most of the time, however, they spread across the fabric and provides simply some minor warding effects against physical assults."

"So the effect created is essentially random?" Just like something that would be caused by a degenerating magical field...interesting. "That's quite interesting." Maybe that's why my spells didn't work on Lan. Definitely something to keep in mind. "Did you find out anything about why this clearing causes such fascinating transformations?"

"This is the first place I suspect of Mythal presence due to the magic effects... but in addition to my little experiments here, I also tried everything I can think of to locate the source of this effect, but failed." Daelric sighs heavily. "Around this area and even further into the forest, I probably searched every inch with all sorts of spells at my disposal."

"That is too bad. Wait...in the last location we searched, you mentioned that you hadn't searched underground. Did you search this area for underground structures?"

"I most certainly did. The other place was relatively new to me, and I have not employed all means to search yet when we went there. This place, however, I can confidently say that I have searches all that is humanly possible."

Humanly possible, you say? Well, that is not something I will allow to get in my way, mortal. Tamara chuckles inwardly. On the outside, she sighs. "That is most regrettable." She starts wandering around casually, with a small hope that her magically enhanced gaze will find something that Daelric missed, or dismissed as unimportant.
