Background:
Colle was born to a medium class family; his parents were known rich merchants in Cormyr and he was the only child. As expected he was spoiled boy; his parents got him everything he ever wished for, but he was never satisfied. His parents found themselves hostages in the hands of their own son. Colle was a smart child and he understood the situation fast, even too fast. He developed bad habits, did what ever was on his mind, and always backed up by his loving parents.

When he was 15 years old his parents realized they made a mistake, they tried to limit him and deny the luxuries he enjoyed before, But it was too late. They found no one that could talk reasonably with Colle. Two more years passed with much tension in the family, his parents became sick, but instead of helping his family Colle left, left and took large amount of money that he could lay his hands on.

He wondered in Cormyr few months, until the wealth started to run out. And then by luck or upper force he got into a small village and met a middle age woman; she seemed to have some unexplained interest in Colle. She managed to make him listen and convince him to stay with her. She slowly began teaching him what she claimed is the knowledge that will help him surviving the harsh future and rise to glory. He learned out of interest to the glory she promised.

Another year passed. Colle learned fast her art, the art of illusions. He caught it fast and became quite good at short time. But once again, he was bored from her, the glory days she promised had not arrived, but neither the harsh future. Once again he left, wondered again, this time using his magic he made his some reputation and some enemies. He disliked most of the surroundings, mainly the people. Mostly used his knowledge for bad, and when time came he even not hesitated to kill.

Few more months passed. Colle got stronger. His book filled with spells, spells of the dead people he left on the road. But unexpected turn came on his path. It happened when one time he cast one of his illusions instead of the expected affect strange darkness filled the area. The time he spent in the darkness is unknown. However he woke up in a dark place, his body changed, cloth ruined and life changed. Somehow he became Shade, why Colle do not understand, but first time in his life he found himself in a position he does not know how to handle. The other shades grant him little help, making him learn to manage by himself, and so he did, soon after the transformation Shar became his Deity, and he became he servant as Shadow Adept. Colle looks at it as a deal, Shar grants him power, he uses them to please her. Colle became obsessed with illusions, he made them stronger and harder to resist, specially his beloved spell Phantasmal Killer. Rarely he gives away the luxury of killing a victim that way.

Those days Colle is part of the Shades army. He is moving with to achieve their goal. In order to fulfill his mission he was granted a gift, special gift from one of the Shar’s clerics. An intelligent rod with many powers. So far they managed to get along. However as Colle learned the future is lays in Shadows, which he learns to control.
